Pleco 2.0 is available in three different bundle packages. The software in all three of these is identical; the only difference between them is in which dictionaries they include.
Basic (US $49.95) - includes "A Chinese-English Dictionary" and the NWP English-Chinese Dictionary. This is best for people new to learning Chinese, or whose primary exposure to Chinese is in a classroom setting (textbooks and worksheets and the like) as opposed to real-world newspapers / conversations / TV shows.
Professional (US $99.95) - includes the ABC Chinese-English Comprehensive, ABC English-Chinese, and 21st Century English-Chinese Dictionaries. The much larger Chinese-English dictionary in this bundle (approximately 8x as many entries as in the Basic) makes it more useful for people actually living / working / studying in China, as you're less likely to encounter vocabulary that isn't covered. The two English-Chinese dictionaries include one very comprehensive title with no Pinyin, and a smaller title with lots of Pinyin (there don't seem to be any dictionaries on the market yet that are both comprehensive and fully Pinyin-ified).
Complete (US $149.95) - includes all 8 of the dictionaries that we currently offer, representing one of the most impressive collections of Chinese dictionaries ever assembled in electronic format. Good for students at any level of study.
The Professional bundle is currently our most popular product, and should be adequate for the vast majority of users. However, the Complete bundle is a great bargain for the number of dictionaries it contains.
Any of the dictionaries we offer with Pleco can also be purchased as an add-on for one of the above bundles.
