All Software Packages

The demo and paid versions of Pleco 2.0 are identical; after you place your order, you receive a special "keyfile" that you can use to unlock PlecoDict on your handheld, but none of the actual data files change and there's no need to reinstall anything.

The files below are not custom-generated in any way; they're the same for every user, all that changes between different copies of Pleco is the keyfile, so if you're installing Pleco on more than one handheld you only need to download the installer once.

See the online instruction manual for assistance in deciding which package to download. The "Minimal" files differ from the "Full" ones in that they only include the Basic and Professional bundle dictionaries (no 21st Century or Guifan) and only contain single-syllable audio files.

Note: the "Automated" installer above runs on a regular computer, not on your handheld - you download it to your PC and then run it to copy files over to your handheld.

 

Extended Audio Files

An expanded set of audio data files, increasing the total number of words covered from about 8,000 to over 34,000, is available below. These are provided at no additional cost to customers who've bought the basic set of audio files. The installation types are the same as with the main download packages above. These should be installed in addition to the "Full" install package, they won't work on their own.
